Why isn’t there a simple answer about ibogaine treatment cost?

There is a simple answer, but you’re likely not going to find it on the web. You need to call each individual center you’re considering going to for their individual answer. You see, ibogaine treatment cost is a delicate thing and there are a lot of variables. I mean a lot.

Here’s a list of a few of the things that help to determine any ibogaine treatment cost:

  • cost of ibogaine
  • medical staff salary
  • support staff salary
  • rent/mortgage payment
  • utilities
  • how many guests per week
  • what activities are included
  • cost of other treatments provided
  • food
  • advertising budget

For real, this is just a few. I could make the list three times as big with ease. These are only some of the bigger, chunkier items. To keep the list going I’d have to get into much more detail with smaller line items, but even the small stuff ads up.

A clinic has many elements to it, that have to be considered.

There’s a lot that has to be put together to make an ibogaine clinic run smoothly. Sure, it can be cobbled together and this is what some people do. But if you want to make it run efficiently, safely and with integrity, there’s a lot of work and expense to it. Depending on any given clinic’s desire to do so contributes to the cost.

Please remember, this is not something to skimp on. Anyone that offers you a super low treatment I would be willing to bet isn’t doing it right. There’s just a baseline that has to be charged for it to even be possible to put a retreat on. The smaller the clinic and the more care you get while you’re there will increase the cost over that baseline, but it’s worth it. It’s worth it because this is your life. This is probably your last chance to get clean and it needs to be tended to with professionalism, integrity and care.

Your life actually depends on it.

Hi Victoria, Thanks for the questions. The cost depends upon what you’re looking to accomplish while you’re here with us. So give us a call to discuss that part. But the retreat is over 6 days and you don’t need a passport. They don’t check any ID when you drive into Baja and when you return and go across the US border you’ll be fine if you have a drivers license and birth certificate. A social security card and your drivers license would work too. A lot of people who visit us don’t have a passport and they’ve never had any problem at the border.
