Get phat 3
The theme recently has been food, we’re gonna continue that here.
So what about Breakfast and Dessert?
We’ve got recipes for those too, keep reading.
Again, the more of this you can do before visiting the ibogaine clinic that you’ll be going to, the better. If it’s more than you can handle right now on your own, even if you are done with your iboga therapy, another idea is to ask a loved one to help you with this. Maybe you have a parent, spouse or other loved one that’s willing to give you some extra help. Give them these effective food detox recipes, explain to them why it’s important and ask them to prepare them for you.
Ibogaine therapy program is a challenging process. It will take you to your edge physically and emotionally before you can reach recovery. The more vitamin, minerals and micro nutrients it has to draw on, the better you’re going to do.
It can be so difficult to ask for help. It actually seems to be a fairly common theme. But if you need it, try to do so anyway. Remember to be vulnerable and make I statements. This will help your message come across in a clean way and someone will be more likely to say “yes”.
Alright, here’s those recipes, and try to read them:
Drink daily in the morning to start your day. Very high nutrition!
- 2 C almond milk
- 2 scoops Garden of Life Raw Meal
- 1 T Vitamineral Green powder
- 1 banana
- 2 C water
Put all in a blender and mix well. Will set you up super well for stable energy through out the day and give you a really good jump start on your nutritional needs for the day. Is a pretty big portion, so you can sip on it through the morning for a snack as well. Sometimes it can hold me over through lunch depending on how active my day is.
This one is probably the recipe out of all I’ve given in this series with the most potential to help you out. It is also very low prep to make. Takes very little energy, thought or planning. This one is number one. If you do nothing else, drink this!
You can order the products online or get them straight from a store. They’re common in Whole Foods, Amazon.com and your local health food store.
If you’re interested, here’s an optional smoothie recipie that is an updated version of what Mark and I are drinking daily.
Avocado Cacao Pudding
Eat for any meal, snack or dessert. Is warming, filling and comforting.
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/4 C raw cacao powder (cacao is raw chocolate powder)
- 1/2-1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2-2 C non-dairy milk – I use almond or coconut
- pinch of cinnamon
- 2T coconut butter (optional)
- 2T honey (optional)
Put all ingredients into blender – only add about a 1/2 C of milk at first. Puree until smooth. Add more milk as needed to create desired consistency.
This is my all time favorite desert. I make mine without honey, because I try not to eat any kind of sweeteners. But with honey is oh so delicious.
Enjoy, I’ll send some more recipes your way soon 🙂
